Overseen by barman Ryan Magarian, the bar at Oven and Shaker reflects Ryan’s passion for all things liquid and delicious. From his acclaimed whimsical signatures that deploy only the finest spirits, daily-pressed juices, and large format Kold Draft ice cubes, to our wide range of “sessionable” local beers and old world-leaning wines, our bar strives to offer every guest a beverage to remember.
About Ryan Magarian
Over the past two decades, Portland native Ryan Magarian’s passionate approach to mixing drinks has gained him recognition as one of the Northwest’s most respected craft bartenders. Ryan, considered a purist by his industry peers, emphasizes classic and vintage cocktails occasionally reimagined with whimsical and intelligent twists. An artisan dedicated to the extreme details of his craft, Ryan has consulted on bars around the world, co-founded Aviation American Gin, and received recognition for his recipes and perspectives in media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Food and Wine, Bon Appetit, and Men’s Health.
